OLD BUSINESS (ACTION/DISCUSSION ITEMS):
3. Consider adoption of Ordinance 554 to repeal Chapter 160, Article II (Per Capita Tax) in its
entirety, leaving all other tax ordinances in full force and effect.
4. Consider adoption of Ordinance 555 to establish the compensation of the elected tax collector,
in accordance with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Local Tax Collection Law.
5. Consider adoption of Resolution 2017-08 to improve Traffic Signal at Collegeville Road
(Route 29) and Doe Run Boulevard.
6. Consider adoption of Resolution 2017-09 to improve Traffic Signal at Ridge Pike and the
Shoppes at Upper Providence.
NEW BUSINESS (ACTION/DISCUSSION ITEMS):
7. Consider adoption of Ordinance 556 authorizing the incurrence of nonelectoral debt in the
amount of $10,000,000 through the issuance by the Township of a general obligation note to
finance a portion of the Capital Improvement Plan and to accept a proposal to purchase the
note from The First National Bank and Trust Company of Newtown.
8. Discuss SEI Plans for temporary parking and pending land development submission
9. Consider request by Valley Forge Baptist Church to permit a five year extension of time to
allow the use of a temporary classroom to January, 2022.
