4. Announcements:
? East Whiteland Township’s monthly Board of Supervisors meetings are
currently broadcast on dedicated government access channels on Comcast
(#996) and Verizon (#46). We also stream our meeting broadcasts on
www.municipalmeeting.com.
? Chester County Household Hazardous Waste Event: Octorara High School, 226

? Appoint Christina Sarrafian as Assistant to the Township Manager
? An Executive Session was held on March 8, 2017 (post meeting), April 5 at
5:30pm and April 12 at 5:30pm
? The Township has been informed that representatives of the PA Department of
Environmental Protection (DEP) and Constitution Drive Partners (O’Neill
Properties) are unable to attend the informational meeting on Bishop Tube
scheduled for April 19 in East Whiteland. As a result, this meeting has been
cancelled. The Board of Supervisors is disappointed that the DEP and
Constitution Drive Partners are unable to attend this meeting.
On April 1, the DEP published a "Public Notice for Settlement under HSCA and
CERCLA" related to the Bishop Tube site. The notice
(http://pa.mypublicnotices.com/PublicNotice.asp?Page=PublicNotice&AdId=435
0286) provides for a public comment period. The Township encourages residents
with comments regarding the property to submit written comments to DEP as part
of the 60-day Comment Period, which will conclude on May 31, 2017. Comments
should be sent to Dustin Armstrong, PA DEP, 2 E. Main St., Norristown, PA
19401.
The application of Constitution Drive Partners for variance relief from the East
Whiteland Zoning Ordinance will again come before the East Whiteland
Township Zoning Hearing Board on Monday, April 24. The meeting begins at
April 12, 2017 – Board of Supervisors Agenda

7:15 p.m. and is open to the public. The application of Constitution Drive Partners
for consideration of the Preliminary Land Development/Subdivision Plan may
come before the Planning Commission on April 26. That meeting begins at 7:30
p.m. and is also open to the public.
East Whiteland will continue to provide notice on its website and through its
newsletter of any meeting at which the pending Constitution Drive Partners Land
Development/Subdivision plan for the Bishop Tube site will be on the agenda.

Atwater Commercial Amendment, proposing the construction of a Nobel
Learning Center in place of the formerly approved hotel pad in the O/BPS
Overlay district.
b. Motion to consider authorizing the Township Solicitor to draft a resolution for the
99 Church Road Development, proposing the construction of 42 single family
homes in the R-1 zoning district.
c. Swedesford 66 Preliminary Plan for 66 townhomes at 961-65 Swedesford Road in
an RMH – Medium High Density zoning district
12. Public Hearings (JM):
a. Public Hearing to consider adoption of an ordinance amendment to the Chapter 27
establishing general and specific standards relating to the location, placement,
